Patric Collet

I grew up in a small, Romansh speaking village of about 250 inhabitants – in the middle of the Swiss mountains. After school I was attracted to Chur, the capital of the canton of Graubünden, where I trained as a teacher.

I got my first job teaching in the beautiful valley of Engadina (St. Moritz). After five years, I sought a new challenge and started to study tourism at the University of Applied Sciences in Chur.

After completing my further education in tourism I took a year off and, together with my wife, I embarked on a trip to discover the wider world. The various cultures that I encountered during this time touched me deeply.

Back in Switzerland, I worked for the national broadcasting company for almost three years. This provided me with numerous interesting insights into the worlds of policy, economics and sports. However, I soon found myself being drawn back to my core competence – tourism. That is the industry I have been employed in for the last three years, working as a marketing and product manager in the holiday region of Heidiland.

All of these past experiences are now being channelled into running LUXURY TRAVEL SWITZERLAND. I look forward to a voyage of discovery across Switzerland together with you!
